Our story

How it all started

St. Paul’s Dental Clinic was established by Dr. Mario Camilleri in 1987 in the heart of Rabat, Malta offering friendly, affordable, patient-centered dental care. In 1998, a secondary branch was opened in St. Paul's Bay, in order to offer services for patients located in Northern Malta. Since then, both branches have been regularly upgraded offering ample procedures using the most modern dental equipment and technology.

Our clinics now make use of a fully digitalised system, with the latest digital imaging and computer softwares that enhances the patient’s experience. On demand, dental implant treatment can be done with guided implant surgery whereby implants can be inserted with the minimal surgical intervention and no incisions or stitches will be required, thereby offering the patients the least discomfort and shortest healing periods. Our St. Paul’s Bay branch is a ground floor clinic that enables easy access to disabled patients. It consists of 3 operating rooms equipped with cutting edge equipment.

Dr. Mario Camilleri is the founder of St. Paul’s Dental Clinics. He set up his first practice in 1987 in the quaint village of Rabat. In 1998, Dr. Mario Camilleri sought to expand his services to the North of Malta, a territory that lacked dental practices at the time. He set up St. Paul’s Dental & Implantology Clinic on the busiest street of a fishing village which as time passed by converted into a bustling multinational town.

Dr. Mario Camilleri was one of the first of local dentists who took a keen interest in the future of this profession. He furthered his studies in dental implantology through various local and international courses. In 2015, he obtained a Diploma in Implantology from the Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology.

Having reached a wide audience, demand at the clinics increased and hence Dr. Camilleri expanded clinic operations by increasing the number of fellow associates which share the same passion for high quality dentistry. In recent years, Dr. Mario Camilleri invested in modernising his clinics to include the latest digital technologies to better serve the patients.

Nowadays Dr. Mario Camilleri is the principal dentist for both branches of St. Paul’s Dental Clinics.
